Distressed leather with rough vintage finish
L10 leather is processed as suede split drum dyed aniline leather, it is snuffed to reach suede stage than a strong film with resins and waxes is applied to be than hand sanded by skilled craftmen to give a “worn out” look . The hides are retanned with a combination of synthan and waxes, than vacuum dried to give a firm hand and a grainy surface. Growth marks, healed scars and all natural factors that have influenced the hide are part of the look of the finished leather. Color variation within the hide or from hide to hide are part of the natural soul of this item. L10 is a high end distressed leather.
