Vintage Waxy Nubuck
L59 is a multifuntional leather that is made from selected buffalo hides, where quality of grain is carefully evaluated. L59 is processed as Nubuck drum dyed aniline leather, it is snuffed to reach nubuck stage than a strong film with resins and waxes is applied to be than milled in a drum to reach the “worn out” look. Growth marks, healed scars and all natural factors that have influenced the hide are part of the look of the finished leather. Color variation within the hide or from hide to hide are part of the natural soul of this item.
